Emil Racovitza, explorer, photographer and draftsman” presents photographs and drawings made by Emil Racovitza during the Belgica expedition, in a multimedia exhibition.

FAV presented during TIFF – Transylvania International Film Festival the stereoscopic photographs, adapted by Radu Igaszag for screening, a short animation by Alexandru Buzea, based on the drawings of Emil Racovitza, an Antarctic photographic exhibition signed by Helmut Ignat, made during the shootings of the documentary “The Explorer”, while the Museum of Vaslui brought exhibits of the Racovitza Collection to TIFF, completing thus the image of the Belgica, the first scientific expedition to Antarctica.
